Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • What is PRP hair restoration?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair restoration is a natural, non-surgical treatment that uses your own blood to stimulate new hair growth. The plasma is rich in growth factors that reactivate dormant follicles, strengthen existing hair, and promote thicker, healthier strands over time.

  • How does the PRP process work?

We draw a small amount of your blood, spin it in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets, and inject the concentrated plasma directly into thinning areas of your scalp. The growth factors in PRP encourage follicles to regenerate, improving both hair density and texture.

  • When will I start seeing results?

Most patients begin to notice less shedding after 2–3 months, with visible new growth appearing around 4–6 months. Because hair grows in cycles, results continue to improve for up to a year with maintenance treatments every 6–12 months.

  • Does PRP hurt?

Discomfort is minimal — most patients describe the treatment as mild pressure or quick pinches that last only a few minutes. We use numbing agents and cooling sprays to keep you comfortable, and for those who prefer, we also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for added relaxation.

  • Is there any downtime?

There’s no downtime. You can return to work or social activities right after your session. Mild redness or tenderness at injection sites may last a day or two but is easily manageable and completely normal.

  • How much does PRP cost?

Our PRP hair restoration sessions start at $495, or you can save with a 3-session package for $1,485. We also accept HSA/FSA funds and offer 0% financing to make treatment accessible.
